Empty Nest Season 5 Show Description

Empty Nest Season 5 Show Description

“Empty Nest” is a half-hour comedy airing Saturdays at 9:00 PM (ET/PT) on NBC. The Emmy Award-winning series revolves around the contemporary relationship of Dr. Harry Weston, a widowed pediatrician, and his two adult daughters, Barbara and Carol.

“Empty Nest” explores the daily ups and downs caused when two grown daughters move back into their father’s house. Carol, a walking bundle of neuroses, has battled a variety of phobias and started a catering business. Barbara, meanwhile, has seemingly found her niche as a career policewoman.

Harry’s nurse Laverne, never far from her roots in the deep South, keeps things bubbling in the office while Charley, a neighbor and would-be Lothario, unexpectedly drops in from time to time. Fortunately, Dreyfuss, the family’s loyal St. Bernard-mix, is always there to act as comforter and confidante.

“Empty Nest” is a Witt-Thomas-Harris Production in association with Touchstone Television.

Touchstone Television is a part of Walt Disney Pictures and Television.
